Holy land and continuous calling

Belonging to the Holy Land is one of the elements of the unique Christian Arab-Jordanian identity, which we brag about to the whole world, and we do not accept an alternative for it. It is our sacred country, and it has instilled in our hearts its love and desires, a glorious and immortal message whose echo will not be erased from the hearts of time.

When we talk about holy places and their mission, we refer to those places that link us to the beginning of the Christian faith and the life of Jesus Christ and the passengers, prophets, and holy martyrs. It is about stones and dirt, but it is a land that links us to the path of salvation and the foundation of Christian faith all over the world. It connects us with our past history and faith, as well as our future history and faith. Our holy places fill Palestine and Jordan. It is every land that Jesus Christ, the generous passengers, and the holy prophets have set. Our country is sacred by heaven, and it must remain the meeting point of people for love, affection, and fraternity.

In faith, our fathers and grandparents were solidarity in prosperity & adversity, affirming their love for their country and preserving its sanctity and its heavenly message to mankind. That's what history proves. When the age of oppression ended, our country, thanks to them, reached an unprecedented level of prosperity and prosperity, and it was a rare population density. The stones and archaeological buildings left behind by history are only tangible proof that our ancestors were living stones in God's Church, that they had the strength of faith and determination, and that their love for their land and their country made them compete in building churches and monasteries in every town and city. It should be noted that the inscriptions and mosaics in which our grandparents decorated the luxury churches and houses of worship have preserved the names of many artists and artisans. However, the found names such as bishops, clergy, staff and philanthropists names indicate that they are not of Greek origin, but of Sami origin.

Arab identity, Christians and Muslims, is closely linked to holy places, and cannot be separated from each other. These places have become an integral part of Jordanians' identity, affiliation, life, culture and history. Arab Christians have been present on this land since the establishment of Christianity, their presence in it is a component of the Arab-Christian identity and a continuation of the cultures of the Old and New Covenants.

Jordan's land, with its monuments and territories talked about the prophets, about Christ and about the saints and martyrs. It is therefore a general call for all citizens, Christians and Muslims, to grant Jordan the ability in remaining, as always, faithful to its true mission of being a land of peace, meeting, brotherhood and cooperation among all. It is also a special call for Jordanian Christians to remain a link to their predecessors and to sons those who follow them. It is, rightly, a glorious and immortal message that nothing will erase it from the heart for a long time.
